Management of Major Emergencies for Process Control Rooms (1-3 days)
We can provide IMT MOME training for onsite/offshore personnel such as offshore installation managers, production superintendents, maintenance superintendents, chief engineers, tanker crew, field vessel crew, radio operators, control room operators, muster checkers/coordinators, on-scene commanders, fire team leaders and medics. We can provide CMT MOME training for offsite/onshore personnel including HR, support, media liaison and logistics teams, shore base managers, rig managers/engineers and safety engineers. MOME training is done in partnership with Command Solutions.
Site exercises test functionality of company procedures under independent observation by experienced Crisis Practitioners.
MOME exercises are assisted by computer-generated scenario simulations. Performance is recordable to DVD and the simulation hardware can be mobilized to any location as per the client's request.
Training scenarios include blow-outs, vessel collisions, illegal boarding, man overboard, bomb threats, gas release, onboard fires, abandonment, natural disasters, oil/chemical spills, terror threats, helicopter crashes, medical & casualty evacuation and structural damage.
Objectives covered in MOME training include leadership and teamwork, communications, information management, resource management, stress management and command and control.
For more information, a PowerPoint presentation and flyer (PDF format) are available from Command Solutions.
